Martha’s Vineyard Map Hoodie

The design

The Martha’s Vineyard Map Hoodie brings the Vineyard into a hoodie: the island’s outline filled with a striped sunset in green, gold, orange and red, with palm trees and a lighthouse on the shore, and the multicolor Vineyaadie script across the bottom. It is the same Martha’s Vineyard Map design as our Martha’s Vineyard Map T-Shirt, now on a hoodie.

What the artwork says

The lighthouse is a nod to the Vineyard’s coastline, set among the palms, and the colors come from the flags of both islands. Vineyaadie is Vineyard plus yaadie, what Jamaicans call one of their own: the Vineyard as seen by people who also carry another island with them, from a brand started by friends from the Jamaican community on Martha’s Vineyard.

Choose your print

Every Vineyaadie piece is printed to order, so you decide how it looks. Pick the size and position of the front print: large in the center, small in the center of the chest, or small on the left chest. You can also add one more print at no extra charge: large in the center of the back, in the Sunset Circle, Martha’s Vineyard Map or Jamaica Island design, or small on the hood, in any of our four designs. Left is the wearer’s left.

Fabric, fit and care

A unisex hoodie in sizes XS–XXL and four colors: black, white, blue and yellow. It is a 10 oz fleece made of 70% cotton and 30% polyester, with a 100% cotton face yarn that keeps the surface soft and good for printing. The hood is fleece lined, the cuffs and waistband are ribbed, and every seam is double-needle stitched. The fit is generous.

Machine wash cold, inside out, with like colors. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Do not bleach. If you iron, turn the garment inside out and keep the iron off the print. If the care label in your garment says something different, follow the label.

Made to order, pickup and returns

Your hoodie is printed to order on Martha’s Vineyard, so it is made after you order rather than taken from a shelf. We ship within the United States, and free local pickup is available in Edgartown, Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs daily, 11am–4pm. Confirm your location and order readiness before traveling.
