The story behind Vineyaadie — Vineyaadie
In this article

Vineyaadie started with friends who wanted to represent the Jamaican community on Martha’s Vineyard, so the designs bring together the colors of both flags and symbols from each island. How do you express two islands in one collection? The collection starts with four designs: a Jamaica outline, a Martha’s Vineyard map, a sunset circle and a wordmark. Each offers a different way to wear the brand’s Jamaican lifestyle concept.

Two island outlines

The Jamaica Island Logo T-Shirt centers Jamaica’s silhouette, while the Martha’s Vineyard Map T-Shirt centers the Vineyard. Both use a small front logo and a larger back design. Lighthouse, palm and sunset imagery connects the collection visually; the maps give each tee its own focus.

A shared sunset

The Sunset Circle Logo T-Shirt uses a circular composition instead of a map. It places coastal imagery inside a single graphic, offering an alternative for someone who prefers a scene to an island outline.

The name as artwork

The Vineyaadie Wordmark T-Shirt gives expressive lettering the leading role. The lettering’s colors come from the flags of both islands. Its larger front graphic changes the emphasis from the back artwork of the other three designs. Choose it if you want color and typography to be the first thing people notice.

Choose your connection

There is no single way to wear an island-inspired tee. Start with the artwork that speaks to you, then choose a color and check the size guide. For practical outfit ideas, read our Vineyard summer style guide.
